Covid was one hell of a ride for the wedding industry. Postponed weddings, guest restrictions, supplier issues - we had it all going on! To me, this wedding was a beam of hope and a reminder of what matters the most.

I was lucky enough to shoot an engagement session with Irina and Josh a few months prior. From when we first met I could see how much getting married meant to them. Their affection for eachother is blinding and if they were going to be alone for their ceremony that didn't matter, because they were doing it together.

Fortunately immediate family were able to join on the day and everyone had an amazing time. Winchester Registry Office is one of my favourites in the area and in particular the Basing room is gorgeous. After the ceremony I took Irina and Josh on a short walk to Winchester Cathedral and then back to their reception at The Ivy.

It's weddings like this that remind me you don't always need a huge party with a massive guest list. As long as you're celebrating with the ones you love.
